Vision We recognize the immense sense of urgency to help save finite freshwater resources in communities we live in, and share a passion to help people without sustainable access to safe drinking water.
At any give moment, about half of the world’s poor are suffering from water-related diseases, of which over 6,000 – mainly children – die each day by consuming unsafe drinking water.
Today, over one billion people are still without access to the basic human right – they are without access to safe drinking water.
Our primary goal is to deliver FREE education and create awareness on commitments made on water and water-related issues by the United Nations.
Relevant commitments include the Millennium Development targets to reduce by half the proportion of people without access to safe drinking water and basic sanitation by 2015.
The goal for all countries to stop the unsustainable exploitation of water resources and to develop integrated water resource management and water efficiency plans.
Achieving the goals will require sustained commitment, cooperation and investment.
Our volunteers, partner organizations, the private sector, therefore, have vast potential to transform the lives of millions, especially in crucial areas such as poverty eradication, environmental upgradation, quality of life, child development and gender equality.
Recognizing the importance of safe drinking water interventions, we have developed an awareness fundraisers as a practical response to the urgency to confirm our commitment to help people in need for safe drinking water.
We encourage our partners to donate a portion of their fundraiser proceeds or profits direct to the safe drinking water relief efforts around the world.
